Lungile Jacobs
Chief Executive OfficerLungile Jacobs is a seasoned social entrepreneur and the founder of several cultural initiatives, including Voices of Cape Town, Ingoma Music Ministries International, and the Township Opera Company. With a background in music and business from UCT’s College of Music and Graduate School of Business, Lungile brings an enterprising spirit to all his arts and culture ventures. He serves as the Managing Director of Nyamezele Investment Holdings and CEO of Nyibiba Professional Services. Lungile is also the founding president of the Choral, Orchestral, and Opera Music Federation of South Africa (COMFESA). An award-winning baritone singer, conductor, and composer, he continues to leave a significant mark on South Africa’s musical landscape.
Fumi Ndika
Head of OperationsFumanekile “Fumi” Ndika earned his degree in Operations Management from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. As a tenor, he has been an active member of both The Matthews Singers Choir and the PE Technikon Choir. Fumi brings extensive experience in choir administration, having served as Treasurer and later as President of The Matthews Singers, a position he held for over a decade. His leadership extended further as he took on the role of Chairperson for the Eastern Cape Choral Music Association in the Nelson Mandela Bay region, demonstrating his commitment to advancing the choral music sector.
Nicholas Xhonxa
Finance ManagerNicholas Xhonxa is a B.Com Honours graduate from the University of the Western Cape, with a major in Strategic Management. He is skilled in establishing new product lines and entering new markets, having gained experience working with organizations such as the Western Cape Department of Health, Robben Island Museum, Nedbank, and Sanlam Private Wealth. In 2006, he founded a consultancy firm focused on SMME development, offering services such as business plan development, feasibility studies, mentorship, coaching, and training in new venture creation. Nicholas has been actively involved in choral music as both a singer and administrator since 1990, contributing over three decades to the performing arts industry.
